Recyling Appeal
Save and improve lives by Recycling!
The funds raised when you recycle your used printer cartridges and old mobile phones go towards the purchase of life saving equipment for the hospital.
We believe that every child deserves access to the very best treatment and equipment available. However, providing medical equipment specifically used for babies and children is very expensive.
With your support we are can ensure that the children in our care have the best possible chance of getting better. The many ways in which you help the children of Temple Street through recycling include...
- Funding the most up to date treatment and equipment
- Improving the standard of facilities in our hospital
- Providing accommodation for parents and families
- Developing support services for the children in our care and their families
Cartridge Exclusion List
Please note that there are a number of printer cartridges and toners that cannot be re-used and hold no value for recycling. Unfortunately by recycling these items it will actually cost the charity money to dispose of. We kindly ask you to please take a moment to read our cartridge exclusion list to ensure that none of these are in your recycling bin. Many thanks for your ongoing support. View the Temple Street Recycling Cartridge Exclusion list here.

Not only will you be helping to raise money for Temple Street but you will also be helping the environment. When mobile phones are thrown out they end up in landfill sites where the many toxic substances they contain can leak into the surrounding soil polluting the earth they also take many years to decompose resulting in a serious long term environmental problem. Recycling mobile phones allows them to be disposed of safely, avoiding any damage to the environment.
